Description
Dr. Svahn holds the first endowed medical directorship at John Muir Health, known as the Susan Desmond-Hellman Medical Director of Oncology. Dr. Svahn earned her MD at Columbia University and completed her internship and residency at Cornell University, during which she also served as an Assistant Chief Resident at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Svahn additionally completed her medical oncology fellowship at Stanford University with a focus on breast cancer.
